Default Third Camaro, first Z28

Finally got my hands on a 2001 Z28. I owned a '94 Camaro V6 and a '01 Camaro V6 previously. What a huge difference two more cylinders make. My Z28 is red, t-tops, auto, SLP Whisper lid, headers, and a Magnaflow exhaust with no cats. Car only has 84k miles on it, but it needs a little work (mostly cosmetic). Glad to be part of the LS1 family.

Thought it was worth mentioning that the headers are Pacesetter LT's, for what' it's worth. Didn't know for sure until I got to check last night.

Pacesetters fit good and have good clearance.

I was concerned about the clearance issue with LT's, but there doesn't appear to be any issues with these. The only issue I have is the I-pipe, but I'm going to run by the exhaust shop this week and let them check the exhaust system out and make sure there are no leaks.

You shouldn't have any issues with ground clearance at stock height with that header/ORY choice.

Lowered 1-1.25" you should be fine but have to be careful.
Lowered 1.5"+ you will scrape places even if you are careful.

The car isn't lowered, but I've scraped the I-pipe a couple of times going across a speed bump or two.

No, it's the long pipe after where the cats would normally be. Sorry if I'm using the wrong terms, I'm still used to V6 F-body terminology.

It is the I pipe.. I don't see why in the world that would hit and not the Y pipe or the collectors off the headers. It would be a first for me.

Just see if the exhaust shop can tuck it a little tighter.

Yeah, try to keep it below sixty, it helps on those speed bumps. I know, it's tough.
