Carbureted LSX forum - 65 chevelle hood clearence

Anybody have experience with 65 A body hood clearence? gmpp intake on ls1 750 dp I want to run a nascar air cleaner connected to my cowl and run a stock flat hood will it fit? Any help is appreciated.

I have a 65 Skylark which should be the same scenario. I run a Victor Jr with a 1/2" spacer and a 3" tall drop base air cleaner. There is no room to go taller than that.
