Its not just tools, its anything and everything we buy is made overseas. So you can't be upset with sears doing it. They're trying to stay in business just like anyone else. If you don't want to buy chinese/overseas goods you'd have to give up practically everything you own to be a true patriot. Its impossible. No matter how you look at it your buying chinese whether you like it or not you have no choice. Car parts, shoes, computers, tvs, turbos, tires, you name it and its most likely made overseas.

SK tools are made in the USA. So are Allen tools.
Keep an eye out for menards sale papers also, I have noticed that at least a couple times a year they have made in the USA sales. Usually there are a lot of USA tools in those sales.

PROTO - WEILER Brushes - Coleman Ext Cords
Power Tools are extremely High when USA Made, probly 10x but they will last that long too.. The only ones I could find anymore were Makita. If down time is a factor, they're worth it.

I don't care so much if they are not made in the USA as long as they are not Chinese, at least when ever possible. and it is getting harder everyday every damn thing is from China.

not hand tools, but dynabrade is made here. I have a couple of there tools. And if they fail for any reason I ship it back and they replace it with another brand new tool no worries.
