Swapping in a th400 and going to a manual tune on my gto.

Will they emissions testers still be able to scan my car and will it pass even though the vin is for a auto car?

Does the manual tune have to come from a same year model GTO or does it not matter.

I just want to make sure that if they put in a manual GTO file for a 2005 for example to replace my 2004 auto tune....that when I go to the emissions stand, that they'll be able to plug the car in and read it just fine.

Find a 04 manual file with the same OS and swap the trans segment.
