Default Kooks Headers

I have SLP longtubes now,does anyone know if the kooks have anymore or less HP than the SLP's ?

Most likely the Kooks will make more hp/tq (peak or otherwise), SLPs are not widely known for making great power in many cases.

Also look at the QTPs, very nice headers.

I doubt you'll see a large gain (1200 dollars worth anyway). They do, however, tuck up much better for more ground clearence.

that notion seems to permiate all there products. but with that said i dont think a swap is worth it. just keep the SLP's since you already have them on the car.

if you go with the QTPs with their Nice High speed merges you will see some more power

I picked up 15rwhp going with Kooks over the SLPs. That was on a heads/cam M6 car.

I also have SLPs and considered switching to Kooks. (ground clearance problems) I just could not justify spending $1300.00 on a set of headers when I already have one. Just my .02

Thats an awesome gain going from one LT to another. Either kooks are really good or slp's are really bad

I bashed my SLPs drag racing last week. It sucks to spend another $1,000+ on something I already paid for. I think Kooks makes a better header and that the added ground clearance will nearly remove the possibility of another problem. Too bad I tell ya.
