spring question would ls7 springs be better
I was told that ls7 springs have a .590 capability and the pac 1218 is .600 but supposedly the ls7's are made for longer durability and daily driveability is this right? Going with a 224/224 TS cam with Kook headers, y pipe , LS6 intake ,ss3200 Yank, lid and cat back.
Thanks again for all your help.

We haven't tried a LS7 spring with that combo, but sell the pac 1218s as a combo with the TSP 224R Hope this helps.

I have 318.54rwhp now I am installing Kook headers and LS6 intake this winter so I would assume 330 to 335rwhp, then if money permits the cam package from TS 224 /224 with pac1218 kit with trunion upgrade , I am debating on oil pump and ls2 chain. I only have 42 000 miles on the car but I want to do it right. I was told approximately 375rwhp or more with this package so it should be a nice low 12 sec car and very streetable. I will set it up to shift at 6000rpm to 6200rpm
Money is an issue, like most, but I would rather wait then do something wrong . Everything I have done up to now was done right. I installed a Yank SS3200"wish I would of did the 3600" and the TCI Flexplate with ARP bolts probably not needed but I don't have to think about cracked flexplate :-)
I want to do this right as well without installing stuff for nothing either :-)

When you install the cam, the valve springs have to be considered a maintenance item. I would do the PAC's as suggested and buy a good valve spring compressor (Crane tool which I believe is still available from Vinci). You would be surprised how easy it will be in the future to swap springs with the right tools thereby making maintenance fairly easy.
