I am considering the TR 224 112LSA but I keep reading about "lope" and some refer to it as a shaking...I guess I have heard old muscle cars making a "chugging" sound..that would also be known as lope?? I guess I don't want my car to be jolting me around or anything or dying at stoplights.. I wouldn't mind that sound but the dying would not be cool nor would being shaken out of my seat..is it THIS dramatic going with this cam? also I will have QTP LT headers,no cats, electric cutout package along with some other bolt ons by summer so overall will this be a good choice for me??? I have been reading EVERY post on cams lately to try to figure out what I want and I think i have it narrowed down to this one but still not too sure..thanks for help

Do a search on TR224, someone posted sound clips for both the 112 and 114 LSA versions. How dramatic is the lope? That's a pretty subjective thing that varys from one person to the next. I would say it's pretty rough, but it does sound good if you want a mean lope. I would hate to pull into an emissions inspection sounding like that and try to tell them it hadn't been modified. <img border="0" alt="[jester]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_jest.gif" />

The 112 wav file is on my site at the bottom.

I love the cam; idle is at 850 and it doesn't shake me out of my seat. You can definitely hear it through the exhaust.

I have a 240/240 cam on a 112 LSA and you can see for yourself.

This is lope and it dosen't shake me out of my seat but this is in a larger cube motor too.

I have the TR 224 on a 112 in my car (signiture) and even at 650 rpm (almost won't run) its not enough lope for me (does not even really shake the car....).

To me....when I think of LOPE, I think of 3000 hp dragsters that won't idle at 1,500 RPM.....awwww....its so beautiful.....almost makes you cry <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
