Default oil pan lowered for oil pump...how do i seal it now?

so i lowered the oil pan so i could get the pickup tube bolt...question is if i bolt it back on, will it seal? usually i would clean all the surfaces and gasket, but the pan is not going to come out very easily...

If you did not move the pan around too much to dislodge the rubber from the aluminum gasket body/frame, it should seal fine if you bolt it back together. Check your torque setting as it's usually 18ft lbs. Except for the 2 small ones on the back.

I lowered my pan a couple times before and never had a problem. Those gaskets work well.

Usually your good..... Although out of the 25+ I have done I just did a friends TA this weekend. and when we did the cam and pump and timing set when we bolted the pan back up the gasket split right at the oil filter location pressure side.... Leaked so bad it was nutz.... ended up having to drop the cradle and put a new gasket in. FUN FUN FUN..... First time i had problems....
