Southern Members - Any Cary/Raleigh/Chapel Hill Members out there?

Pretty much what the title says. Got a Firebird a few weeks ago.

It needs a bit of work but its mine!

Would be interested in learning about any reliable people around the NC area who would be good for parts/tuning/etc. I prefer to keep business local if I can.

I've had good experiences with Paul at LS1 Excitement in Durham (although he may be booked up) and RPM Performance in Garner.

We have a few members of a local club based here in the Triangle, www.triadfbody.com. Jump on that site when you need parts or advice, or just want to commune with fellow f-bod folks.

Awesome, thanks. I'll join up. Though currently my 'bird is grounded...transmission is out and getting a rebuild. But in about two weeks it'll be good as new.

+1 for RPM in Garner.
Didn't go there myself, I went to Frost in Virginia and he was awesome and he recommended RPM in Garner.

Blazing High Performance does top quality work and it's reasonably priced too. I've gone there for years.

As far as tuning goes Mayhem is definitely the place to go around here.

i have experience with Mayhem and LS1 Excitement, they are both very good... i've never used RPM for anything, but i have friends that like them a bunch

Mayhem is great. They know their stuff. They will be tuning my car after my h/c swap.

Another one for Mayhem. They've done all my work for every vehicle I've owned. Blazing High Performance is good too, good honest people all around.
