Default O2 simms
Why are they needed. I removed my cats. I have the diablo programmer. Why cant I just delete the code when it pops up? (until i actually get the O2 simms) Are the O2 simms needed to prevent damage or actual problems?

They're just there to make the car "think" there is an actual 02 sensor installed. I'd just delete the code if I were you.

I just got mine deleted when i had a basic tune done. until then i just used a diag. scanner and deleted them whenever they came up.
