Pontiac GTO 2004-2006 - suicide door kits

A friend here in Oz is building a GTO as a dedicated burnout car & wants to have suicide doors for extra show status,anyone know of a kit he can buy?

You can buy kits, but by the time you install them and get them working right you might as well have started from scratch.....I've seen people cut the hinge and front area of the door were the hinges are welded and move them to the back edge of the door, them take the strikers and latch off the back ever end move them to the front...either way you do it it is a huge job to get right

I just got curious and looked up kits....bolt in GTO kits run $1,500!!

Play nice guys, remember we are talking about a show car here :) its gotten to the point now at lots of shows to even be competitive your car has to be rediculiously over the top.
