Default Best price for poly mounts?

My headers are on the way and I figured I would do the motor mounts while I do the headers.

I've searched a few places but the cheapest was on Summit for $60 shipped.

I'd like to get them from a sponsor, but if I can get them cheaper. Any of you guys know who has them for the same or less?

Thanks.

I always get mine from summit. And BTW, Summit is a sponsor.

IIRC WS6store has em for $63ish. Not sure what Summit charges.

How easy did they bolt in? I remember reading somewhere that the clamshell needs to be modified a little bit to accomodate the new bolts for them. Was it a fairly straightforward install? I'm getting ready to do an intake/headers/ypipe/motor mount/ls6 valley plate swap.

I haven't even received them yet. They get here with UPS today.

I hope it won't be too much of a pain in the *** because I don't have anyone to help me. I'm doing the headers and mounts at the same time.

That is the thread that I'll be referencing during my install. The only part of the install that worries me a little is the poly mount install/having them lined up to the frame. Not sure how I'll pull that one off...

Thank's for the link, good info there.

Get 1 of them in and then use the scissor jack to get the other one in.

I have an engine hoist, so I hope that will help me out. I can lift the motor up a bit and move it around as I need it I guess.

I am going to be installing my headers soon as well and I dread thinking about doing motor mounts. Haha, I have never done them before. I'm still contemplating doing a trans mount at the same time. Think it's worth it?
