I recently bought a LS2 gto. When i start it I get a check oil level warning on my dash and I can hear the valve train clicking/tapping which goes away if I give the car a little rev to spike the oil pressure. The car has a fresh oil change, so its not low. I'm thinking I should change out the oil pump. Will a ported ls6 pump work with the LS2? I have the same pump in my LQ9 WS6 so I would think it should work correct?
