Default rustang vs ls1

Finally got a good run in a couple weeks ago versus a friend of mine that ive been wanting to get a decent run with. we raced a couple time before from maybe 35-70 but nothing serious.
him 98 ls1 automatic 410 gears, longtube headers, free mods, lid filter, x pipe (custom ****), tune maybe something else but maybe not. Me mods in sig
Got a run from 25- 100. Me in second. 3 honks even jump I immediately pulled 2 cars and by the end of second I had 3+ cars shift to third around 70 or so and pull another couple cars by 100. Nothing interesting my tires still suck and im still too broke to buy new ones so Im taking donations. Id really like to catch him from a first gear roll but I just the spin tires. Thats what I get for being 30 and going back to school. Being broke sucks.

You must be one of the few well built fox bodies. Either that, or he wasn't racing too hard or driver mod is lacking

Premium H/C/I combo, but maybe a bit smallish for a 351. Still, I'd figure you're in the neighborhood of 370-400 at the tire?

he was probably trolling you. you're too young to be calling anyone kid.

what's your 1/4 times, just outta curiousity?

traction problems.....add the quad shock setup from an 87-up mustang. it's easy.....then add some good lower rear control arms, and frame connectors if you haven't already. you'll be shocked at how well you hook.

by the way....notice how your kill of a chevy doesn't go too far....but the kills of fords nearly instantly hit 5+ pages?

Let her test drive a '05-'06 GTO. Worked for my wife! She wasn't very 'eager' for me to buy mine until I let her do the test drive with no salesman. She got pulled over for doing 90+mph at the end of the freeway onramp: like usual she got out of it, and when she made it back to the dealer she was dead set on that GTO coming home with us that night. And told me that right infront of the salesman just as the haggling over price was starting.

Got the connectors and some other minor suspension stuff but havent had a chance to get it to the track. The guy that built it thinks it should go 11.70's with traction (thats all he does it build mustangs and race them) but I cant confirm that at all. Just a quick little street car, certainly no race car. Its not 5 pages because nobody is talking **** yet

Thats awesome, unfortunately my lady doesnt have much interest in cars but she was looking at a g8 gt the other day, which i would be more than stoked about.

This is my 85 GT that I had to sell to buy my Cobra.

It was my dd and ran 11.70's with a H/C/I 351.

I never cared for the 85-86 Mustangs really. Nice paint though.
