Default MLS gasket??? reusable?? head bolted down for only two hours

well, i goffed. nothing big, but here it is. got my heads from AS yesterday and started on the car today. the heads have a specific side since the intake is matched up to them. i was a moron and put the drivers side head on the passenger side and didn't realize it until i went to put on the drivers head . so, i pulled the head i had put on the passenger side and put the correct head on the passenger side with my other new gasket.

my question is, the head was only torqued down for a couple of hours and the gasket looks perfect. do i need to go get a new head gasket or is it ok? it's not a big deal to go get a new gasket, but if it's not needed then i won't bother.

thanks for you help

i have cometic gaskets (mls) and ARP studs, have took them on and off, many times.

they are made to be reusable.

If you're using stock head bolts, they can't be reused, however.

thanks for all the replies. especially nate for being so quick. i reused the gasket and bought some new head bolts. i have the heads all bolted up and will put on the intake and exhaust tomorow and be all fired up. i'm pretty damn excited. it's been a long time in the making
