i just recently purchased my first camaro z28 and i love the car. i paid 1800 dollars for her, its a 6 speed with 3.73 gears and pretty much everything else is stock. i want to make this car as reliable as i can.

the bad it needs new tires, brakes, shocks, the cluster lights dont work. the passanger side mirror doesnt work and the hatch doesnt open at all. and he put a push to start and i wanna take that off. can anyone help me out i want to fix these problems this week. i have 500 dollars to spare and i will do the work myself

im planning on changing the oil, spark plugs, diff fluid, transmission fluid and fuel pump just to make its all taken care of. i

brakes and tires are easy just costly. shocks are cheap if you get the cheap ones. I have Monroe and my car rides fine and is lowered. Gauge cluster lights are easy to replace but its time consuming.

Good looking car for the money.

I was looking at the Monroe ones. Which ones do you have?

Welcome to the F-body world!
Tires alone will eat up that $500. As for the hatch, you'll have to crawl into the back and pull back the carpet to release it manually. Also your grand sport stripes (slashes on the fender) are backwards. They should lean forwards.
Overall, if the engine and trans are in good shape, you got a good car for the money.

Okay thanks. Yeah I seen that. I'm gonna take the stripes off. Whats the best oil to do the oil change and brakes for the stock lt1 brakes?

Just being honest with you...$500 won't get you too far. Finding some used stuff on Craigslist will be your best bet if you're trying to do all of this on a tight budget.
