Default Intercooler Piping

I am about to install my new front mount and am trying to decide on piping. I just wanted to see what people recomend for 3" IC piping. Does anyone know how much weight difference there will be between mild steel and aluminum? Also is there anywhere in particular everyone would suggest getting the piping from. I can weld the mild steel but i dont have a tig to weld aluminum but i could take it down the street after i do the moch up and get the aluminum welded.

Any info would be very appreciated.

Aluminum , you can get kits from eBay for like 100$ for that price there is no reason to use steel
