so like the title says ive got a 79 vette that has a custom built 383 in it barely 2 months old. the setup is a quick fuel 780 carb, edlebrock performer rpm intake, gm high lift alluminum heads, comp 224/230 cam with shorty headers going to straight pipes. and a 700r4 trans. however this is not enough power for my weekend racer, and seeming how i dont want to be filling a bottle every weekend and risking blowing my pretty new motor to pieces, id like to turbo or supercharge. my idea is a whipple but looking for some other ideas on setups i could do from the turbo/sc crowd. car is a weekend car and will be street/strip.
