I went to the track for the first time today with this car. I had a best 60 ft of 2.05. I was pretty much leaving like I would at a stop light. What RPM have any of your 10 bolts held up to. I know it will vary by track..etc. But next time I want to actually try to launch. Running an 8.5 1/8th is kinda embarrassing.

Mine is auto but it loads at 2800rpm and thats nothing I would say 3000rpm is safe 5000 well no no

Live around 2k. But don't just dump the clutch, slip it, you may even be able to go higher..

I've had best luck hooking at just over idle (1500-2000)

I know my car is different, but all you can do is to keep testing....try 2000...then 2500...then 3000. See where it works best, but be sure to do your burnout the same every time.

thanks for the info. I got the burnout down and think I will try slipping it from about 2-2500.

im running a stick on dr's and Ive done a 5000 dump on a bone stock ten bolt...I think people dont give a 10 bolt enough credit cuz Ive done five or six passes in one day and drove the car home 180 miles still with no problem

I come out at 3900 no problem on street tires... probably go 4500 and come off the clutch a LOT faster with some drag radials.. i can come off at 3500 plus no problem on the street.. broke my ten bolt after a 3500 launch on a 3rd gear shift a couple weeks ago.

I slipped the clutch last weekend from 3500. Got me a 1.9 but smelled like I left half of the clutch on the track.....however I did get a new best 8.3@89

I usually slip the clutch from around 3250-3500. Can't be too slow though or you'll just burn it up.
