Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - is this intake a tbi or carb?

im redoing a 350 to go in my blazer. it says 5.7 on block and says its from 87 to 95 when i run vin. could you tell me by intake if it was a carb or tbi?http://i425.photobucket.com/albums/pp340/ryan_wagnon/Takenapart.jpg

Thats an old cast iron intake for a 4bbl quadrajet carb. Not original to an 87-95 unless maybe it was a marine engine? Probably someone stuck it on there to ditch the tbi system.
what heads are on it?

ok thanks alot yea they said they pulled the engine out of a 70 something nova. So im sure they tried to hotrod it a little.

Yeah man, all TBI from GM came with only 2 intake holes not 4. The best thing you can do with that is to tie a rope thru the hole where the distributor goes and throw it off the front of your boat as an anchor.

lol ok! is there any good junk yard parts for these engine or should i buy new stuff from edelbrock?

I think he means toss the intake, not the whole motor hahaha What are your goals for the motor? If you just want 275 hp or so and the motor is in good running shape you can use a cheap mild cam and a used aftermarket intake. You can get vortec heads for a little more money. I mean your wallet is the limit just like anything else.....
