I am installing an LS1 into a '56 Bel Air, I only have truck accessories and those won't work this the LS intake without some modification. I also need the brackets that position the alternator high on the engine, not down by the crank pulley. Also if there is a bracket setup that has the high alternator and A/C bracket could someone please point me in the right direction.

Speedway motors has a high mount alt bracket and kwik performance has a high mount a/c (sanden compressor) bracket. You can get them in any accessory setup(vette, f-body, truck) Try some searches next time as they are not hard to find. Hope this helps...

I have actually done the searches and I know who sells the after market kits. So thank you for trying to help but not actually complishing anything. I was just hoping that I could pick up the stock brackets and if someone had the factory high A/C setup I could pick it up from them.
