So I finally finished putting the 99 back together after my near motor death at the track last September. First pass out I ran 14.20 with headers and a ls-6 intake. Unfortuntly the valve springs were past their prime and I ended up bending three push rods, bent two valves, and put instant valve reliefs in six of the pistons in a moment of over-rev's.

I did some research and rebuilt the top-half will all new components. TSP 5.3 - 2.5 CNC heads. V3 TRQ cam, LS-6 Injectors, new pushrods, lifters, oil pump, etc.... I picked up the car from Speed inc. last week. Much to my shock the car put out 425 horse and 405 trq. For a car with this much mileage it did well. Ill take the car to the track in the Spring, but I'm guessing that it should run in the 11.5 range once i have a good rear end in it.

Bet its a blast to drive !!! What all bolt ons do you have. M6 or a4. Love the torque this cam puts out. Where is your track at seems Like 14.1 is in some higher altitude like my place is.

Actually the 14.20 was hitting the over-rev going into second with the car shutting off coasting over the finish. So here is the list of whats done. The car is an M6 car with a twin disk Textralia. I have Pacesetter's with a Magnaflow non-cat back. Other then that with the LS6 intake the car is bone stock. Still has the stock 78 mm throttle body and stock maf with a lid.

Torque looks good, with a good 60ft should do 11.5's @ 115-118mph all day long.
