didnt the late 1997 Camaros were the 30th anniversary SS with an LT-4 ..?

Also i thought the earliest ls1 drop-ins were only on the 1997 corvettes

Camaros only got LT1's.... LT4's were only in the Vette's. You are correct 97 Vettes got LS1's 98 Camaro's got LS1's.

Adam select 97 SSs had LT4s, 100 to be exact. All were white with higher orange stripes. Not all of them had it. Either the guy is an idiot or he swapped the motor

I dont see anywhere that he claims that the LS1 was original in the 97 so if it has an LS1 then it is swapped in.

-All '97 vettes had the LS1
-Very few (100) Camaro SS's had LT4's in '97. The rest were LT1's
-People do phone numbers like that to avoid spam all the time on CL

Maybe he thinks the 97 just has an LS1 with a 'different intake manifold'.

I had a guy swear up and down that an LT1 was just a LS1 with an earlier style intake manifold when I went with a friend to check out a Z28 he was looking at buying.
