SLP Bowtie Grille vs. Stull Billet and Blue Bowtie Grille
I currently have the SLP bowtie grill on a silver z28 but really like the look of the stull grille with the bowtie off a chevelle. Which one is better looking?
Also, the billet grille comes in three different finishes: brushed aluminum, polished aluminum, and black billet. What would look best on a silver car? I'm leaning towards the black one with the blue emblem. I don't want to paint behind the grille black though - not sure if that really makes a difference though. thoughts?
here is the slp grille I currently have:

this is what the new one looks like:

just trying to get some opinions....thanks!

I have the SLP bowtie grille on my 01 Z/28 my Stull black billet grille arrived today and my 69 chevelle blue bowtie should be here mid next week So I will post some photos IMHO your best combo is the black billet grille and either the silver bowtie they offer the the 69 chevelle or the blue one.

You can buy the 69 blue bowtie from Classic Industries. That's where I got my 69 SS emblem, you may have to flatten the bowtie out more to fit the contour of the grille. I had to do it to my emblem, but be EXTREMELY CAREFUL when you bend it because it is fragile and it will break! I just lightly heated mine with a propane torch and slowly bent until it was right. Good Luck

dammit, i hate our law enforcement up here sometimes..."no-no" number one of their list is can't remove the front plate. I really wanna do the black stull grille cause it looks amazing...anyway to put the plate behind it or something? i dunno maybe its just pipe dreams for me
