Default 383 cam..

..hey guys, looking at some input on the following cam for my 383, spec's 230/234 .600/.612 113LSA +1.

My car has a BBK intake and 80mmTB, PP LS6 stg2 heads, ~11.3 CR, LT's, ORY.... I also plan to run a 150 shot.

I want the car to be a good DD, but also kick-*** on the street and track!

Look at thunder racings stroker cam designed I believe around a 383 the test car made something around 537 hp which is unheard of with a 383. Do a search for 383 stroker cam and you'll find it No personal experience with it but is a cam I would love to have

This is what I am running, 235 235 620 620 111+2 made 505 to the wheels, Love this cam, was a Vengeance suggestion of hey lets try this and see what it does. Best driving cam I have had, really makes some noise at the light! but can cruise smooth with no bucking! Take a look in the Dyno section and see my dyno post!

Thats my biggest concern, drivablity!..I had the above cam spec'd out, and I know it would be a great cam all around, but my tuner mention the following cam,
- 234/240 .612/.595 114+4

I'm just wonder would be really that much of a difference between them for HP, and can some one give me some insight on how this cam would be for a daily driver?

I had that exact cam on a 111in my 346 and really liked it. Shitty cold start manners but was a kitten after a minute or so. Yours will be even nicer on a 113 and more cubes... 434/400 on an a4....

That cam will drive great on the street with the extra cubes.

In my 383 I have a 240/244 .620 110+2. I can cruise fine as long as I am over 1500 rpm. My car made 490/450 through an S60
