Dyno Guesses & Bench Racing Forum - can i make over 400hp !!!! 00 camaro

hello guys i am curious to know if my set up will net my 400hp , ls6 intake ,799 heads , tsp224/224 114lsa cam for smog , pacesetter shorty headers , true dual x pipe no cats , good tuner ?????? any info will be good i see tons of people making it with longtubes but nothing with shorties so im curious to know if it has been done thanks

Shorties and untouched heads i would say your gonna fall short of that number.

400 crank hp yes, 400 wheel hp probably not.

it has an m6, untouched heads , i just hope to get at least 390ish with shorties, because if i ran longtubes id for sure be in the 400's

If you have an m6 I say you will be very close to your goals if you have a set of lts on there you should be a little over your goal on a dyno jet. 799 heads are the same ad 243 ls2/6 heads so technically they arent "stock" i think you will be right around your goal op without lts or just slightly over it with the lts.

I would say get it dyno'd before all the MODS just so you can how much you gained and good luck with your goal it sounds like it might be in reach.
