tail light issue

tail light issue I have a 96 TA and all lights work, but when I push brake pedal the P/S tail light go's out. I've looked around for broken wires and fuses. Everything seems good to go... any input is greatly appreciated.

Same thing happened to my 99 bird. Where the turn signal goes into the steering column there's a switch you trigger when you push the stem up or down. That switch is cheap plastic and breaks. That's what the mechanic said anyway. They replaced it and it fixed it.

I'd check all your grounds. You may be grounding something out prematurely. It could also be in your BCM.

I had a similar issue on my 96, it turned out to be the bulb socket that kept going out, it had a small amount of corrosion and it would intermitently screw with the brake light and the turn signal. I put a new $9.00 bulb socket in and no more issue with brake and turn signals.
