I bought a 2000 SS that had been hit in the front end and is missing a front clip. Well I've got a new impact bar, foam, and one of the stiff aftermarket bumper covers. Does anyone have a diagram of what bolts/fasteners go where ? I know my upper bumper support is destroyed and I'll need it but I just want to half ass this car back together to get it on the road to see if its going to be worth keeping.

There should be a total of 8 push pins.. 5 on the top and 3 on the bottom. A total of 6-8 10mm bolts on the bottom as well that secure into those slip over the trim style retainers. On the left and ride side of the bumper inside of it near the fenders you will use 10mm nuts 8 of them, 1 on the front of each fender, and 3 just inside underneath each fender that you can access by opening the plastic panels underneath the bumper. Hope that makes sense.

The bumper I bought was 75 bucks shipped from ebay. I actually bought 2. One has been installed on my Z28 by a body shop and they said the only flaw they had with it was the hood to bumper gap. When I looked at it the bumper didn't seem to be perfectly machined all the way across. The body gap was slightly wider in spots. Nothing crazy but enough to tell if your looking for it.
