is 4.78 to low for a street car

is 4.78 to low for a street car I have a 2840lb 37 Chevy with ls1 and t56 it has 29x12.5 inch tires with current 4.11 that I feel is to high in 6th because if traffic does go 80 I'm running 1800 but I'm worried that first might be to low with the 4.78

I had 4.56s also but the motor would turn 7400. Great street ability for a big cam car too. Car would get 21 mpg on a trip. 6th gear is gonna be around 19-2100 depending on tire size at 70

just for shyts & giggles,this is what i noticed.
ski23 has a 26" tire with 4.11 gears & m6....
i have,28" tire with 4.56 gears & m6............
side by side we shift at just about the same time going down the road & at the track.
i had 5.13 gears in my 3speed automatic track car with 30" tire.
