Southern Members - 2006-2008 Corvette vs. 2009-10 Challenger SRT-8

Looking at purchasing a 06-08 vette, but looking around and seeing the SRT-8 Challenger's...both are bad ass! It's sorda like comparing oranges to apples, but wanted to here you guys opinions on performance pros cons etc. Whatever I choose it will be an Automatic so maybe take that into consideration. Thanks In Advance guys!!!

Corvette performance wise, both look awesome, the challenger is heavy as shit. I would take the corvette over the challenger performance wise.

If you've got kids and want a decently quick grocery getter, get the Challenger. If you want the best bang for the buck car on the entire planet, get a Corvette.

In terms of performance there is NO comparison. A buddy of mine and I went to the dealership in his 99 Z28 to look at a Challenger. The salesman let us take it for a spin after swapping information and we raced the Z vs Challenger on the HWY right next to the dealership. A 99 Z28 with a lid, catback, and UD pulley put 3 1/2 cars on that Challenger with ease.

They're nice, but they're heavy TURDS.
