Default Anybody want to play the guessing game?

I know there is a lot of members here in the engineering field,so maybe somebody can help me out.

My boss just came to me, and told me to figure out what this part is. I have NO idea. It is copper, measures about .7 inches wide by about 1.5 inches long, and is about 6 thousandths thick. The piece on the top of the picture is the assembly, and the two pieces on the bottom are the assembly broken apart. If you take them apart, they break, and will not stick back together. I have never seen anything like this, any help would be much appreciated!

Most likely HO-Scale picket fence sections. You need to taste them to be certain.

High current multiple point interface contact or Louvertac Band.

Just a guess.
