Carbureted LSX forum - HP guess

I know I will not get a ton of HP with this 5.3L setup, but would like to know what HP I may get with it...here are some insight about the engine...


'01 chevy silveradro stock 5.3L 118k miles on it...

engine lower end, stock internals..crank/pistons/rods etc...

706 machinced cleaned and resurfaced...

'98 LS1 cam....

carb'ed ...performer intake...will be msd EFI -5

msd ign. box...6010

maybe mid-length to full lenght hedders

still in the works with building engine...not looking for a ton of HP..

those heads probably dropped your compression a little, but the cam should make more power than the stock cam. 330ish would be my guess. long tube headers would pick up some power

They make 305-325ish, so assume 350-360 pretty easily.
