Got some runs with my friends z28.His mod's=cam unknown(small),fast 102 intake and tb,header's tru dual with a magnaflow catback,slp lid,4.10's. My car=header's,small cam 224/228,head's,3.73's
I know there is a ton of wind noise but neither of us could here each other honk with the windows up!My friend's gf recorded with my gopro.Not bad for her first time using it and filming a race!

great video, and she did a great job...but damn was his car a ls1 or lt1 ????....you really spanked that monkey...lololol...either his car isn't running well or needs the driver mod..or your t/a flies...good kill.

Ls1,car is kinda new to him but he had a ls1 z28 before with less mod's and he is not a bad driver either!He said he started in 3rd(4.10s) and I started in 2nd (3.73s)but had to shift almost immediately anyways so it's not much of a difference after the initial jump!I'm sure I'll see a better race out of him soon enough.My car has pretty descent top end,seems to run harder on the freeway or maybe I'm just talking crazy!

with 4.10's i myself cant be more then 60mph on the highway so i can have a decent amount of time in 3rd gear. Anything higher in speed i have to shift immediatly. So maybe start off at about 50-55mph in 3rd gear for the Z28 and it should be closer but you would still pull him in the top end, looks like your car responded better and has better top end hp to the cam.

I did have to shift almost immediately into 3rd myself after the initial jump.I would have dropped to lower speeds but it isn't the safer thing to do in that spot and angry people were already honking at us earlier for holding up traffic!Not trying to get reported by an angry prius owner!
