The Holley Dominator is just an overall much nicer setup. As far as making power, I would assume you could make just as much power with the Holley as you can the BS3. With time, more people will be running it on the high HP cars.
BS3 had a big head start, and the advantage of who it's creator is. That carried a lot of wight initially. The more people that use the Holley, it will steadily gain more respect. In the grand scheme of things, it is in it's infancy.

He's referring to the issues with factory coils backfeeding the ECM which was documented and Holley was supposed to be correcting. I've been waiting it out as well, but I'm not in a hurry at this point (ie: lots of other stuff to do first).

I currently run the BS3 ls7 system, My buddy just got the Holley dominator kit for his older 383 w/procharger. Like stated above the Holley is a much better system. It has all the same function as the BS3 and more. I am thinking about switching over to it, if I can figure out how to make my racepak dash work with it.

Will be testing new hardware on the LS coil apps very shortly, hardware is done. Just finishing firmware for those changes. After that finishing the boost control changes based on the beta testing.

Hey Sound, so I am about to purchase my Holley Dom set up and the tuner I brought this issue up and he said the stock coils work fine with the Dominator set up. Is this true, do I need to go with Holley Coils or can I run stock? Can't seem to get a straight answer.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.
its once you start to see higher cylinder pressures(from FI applications and Large Shot Nitrous Applications) that it has issues.

I'm not going with the MSD's gonna go with Holley Coils, but for the record my friend has MSD coils on his TT Ls powered 69 Camaro making 1200 HP to the rear wheels with not a single problem from the coils. Not exactly what I would describe as "junk"

Talked to Holley this week. No fix yet. They offered me Holley Coils at $100 each and you only need 4. Not too much more then stock. Just went with that. Why wait any longer for $125 bucks difference
