Just got owned!!! Well I was sitting at a red light with probably a 08 magnum behind me and I left the light at about 50% throttle and he comes up beside me were racing at about 70 now he pulls on me about 80 gets right in front of me and turns down the next road. I dont know what he had done or anything. I have shorty headers, cai, 2.73 gears 
what the hell happened?? Are these things that stout? Or is something wrong with my car? Btw, my throttle was to the floor when he got beside me...

Umm basically stock 285hp 1995 LT1 running a 2008 Magnum with 426hp equals that loss. Get real headers, cam, LT4 intake manifold, etc. and then go see what happens.

Lol. I dont know it looked like a r/t but i dont know the difference. I have new 1.6rrs on the way, push rods, valve springs and was going to get a complete 3.42 rear assembly I was thinking about LTs also. But dang I didnt think he would get me like that.

Never underestimate someone running spray. In my area, just about everyone in everything has it. But isn't the Charger RTs in the 350-365HP range? Does the Magnum come in RT? Might not had to be an SRT8 to pull away.

You think that stings wait till a sleeper civic takes you lunch money on low boost while your spraying lol. I have Learnd build a car for you if start tring to be the fastest you will just get frustrated unless you can afford the lasteset and greatest

Lol thanks yall hopefully after the $600 im dropping on everything. New rocker arms (crane cams gold series 1.6) push rods, valve springs, 3.42 complete rear assembly, and a tune. Hopefully I wont have to worry about magnums then. Lol. So far I have been lucky enough not to meet that civic. There is a white one in my town though thats BLOWN. So that day will come one day.

I'm pretty sure the mid 2000's Magnum RT's had 345HP, but they weigh about 4,100 lbs. They run low 14's in the 1/4 mile, even with a stock LT1 F-body. Now if he had the 6.1 liter SRT-8, you probably wouldn't stand a chance. They have 425HP, and run mid to low 13's in the 1/4 mile.
Did the car sound loud? Was there a chance of H/C/E? Are you a manual or auto? If you were going at 50% throttle in the auto, and he had a manual...I would not be surprised if he pulled on you. The autos in the Fbodys suck from a roll.
