Steel braid, most likely, not familiar with "Starlite", is that a pushlok, or a crimped?. You can be assured if you call either company, it will be their hose, their fittings. The last fittings I got from Russell were from CHINA, and those will be the last fittings I get from Russell, I use Aeroquip..

Look at the fittings' description and it should tell you what hose they are compatible with. Try to stay with like-brands. Earls with Earl's, Russel with Russel.. etc etc. I'd go with russell or Earls, personally. See what fittings Aerquip recommends with their hose.
-=EDIT=-
Holy shit-ass that's some expensive hose! 0_o I got Earl's ProLite 350, but I like the fire-proof cover. That would have been some nice insurance!!! Awesome features to that hose!
And it doesn't say. Found this:
Eaton’s Aeroquip® popular light-weight racing hose; up to 45% lighter than steel braided hose. Flame resistant Nomex cover with Kevlar®*. Aeroquip elastomer smooth bore inner tube, -45 to +300 F temperature rating. Approved with reusable and crimp fittings. Applications include fuel, lube, coolant, air. *Teflon® is a registered trademark of DuPont™
