99 Harness problem

Default 99 Harness problem

I have a 99 Trans Am the pcm was stolen oout of it and i picked one up suppositly out of a 99 but it take a clear connector and red, I have a Blue and Red on the car is there an adaptor for this or do I need to try to track down the right PCM. Any advice would b very helpful thanks.

Wrong PCM. Must be red/blue.

ok thanks is the red/clear a different year or just wrong in general

I've seen some FWD V6 PCMs with one of the connectors clear. I don't remember if the other one was red or blue though.

That sucks ok thanks for the info is it best to try and find a used one or just buy a new one.

The car was in the shop after my buddy blew up the motor when i went to pick it up after they pulled the motor they "lost" the and the radiator etc. It's a whole messed up situtation

used is fine, grab a 896 pcm and have it programmed to your car. a 411 will work too
