Default need help/advice

I recently got some 30lb red top svo injectors. Im going to swap them out with my stock 02 camaro z28 ones. I was talking to a buddy of mine and he said he doesnt think i need more fuel, then he said i might need a new pump and rails to feed it. What do you guys think? My current mods are...torquer 2 cam, 5.3 ported heads, ls6 intake, ls7 lifters, hardened push rods, .650 prc double valve springs, slp cai and lid, blackwing air filter, pacesetter lts, tsp true dual x pipe to dumped bullets, hp tune. Im also getting ready to put in an ls2 timing chain, slp 160 thermo, slp ported oil pump, asp underdrive pulley, and going to pull out all a/c stuff. Let me know what you all think, thanks.

your stock 190L/hr pump will suffice for your 30LB injectors.
and when you tune it for those 30LB injectors, you will want to make sure you tune the IFR table correctly for what those things are rated for with regards to their ratings and your actual fuel pressure.

for instance, 30LB red top SVO injectors are likely rated that at 43.5psi
you will be running 58psi roughly on them...
this makes them the equivalent of sqrt(58/43.5)*30 = 34.64LB/hr at your fuel pressure
compared to the max 38LB/hr of the stock pump you are good.

any more fuel questions, PM me.

yes. You will be fine until you need to upgrade to any injector larger than 38#. Just get whoever tunes your car to check your injector duty cycle after you dyno and get tuned. You will be fine with those 30# for what you have.

You should only need to upgrade to a larger pump and injectors when you add some forced induction or go for some serious mods above 480rwhp NA
