Northwest Members - vortec head sbc intake manifold gasket?

I have a vortec gmpp crate motor that had an oil leak on the back of the intake manifold. I bought the fel pro 1255 gasket however when took it off it had a newer style gm gasket. after researching online I have gotten mixed reviews as to which style is better so thought i would ask and see if you guy have experiance with this?

is the fel pro the hard plastic with silcone injected sealing rings? if so i used thoose on my 70 c10 355 that i did a vortec top end on and havnt had any problems so far.

Use the 1255, ive had great luck with them!

I used the Fel Pro 1255 when I had the vortec top end on my dragster (which I sold I think to Whip).

yeah the setup is workin good! im gunning for 13's in the brown bomber this year! lol
