John Deere Racer, i just realized who you were:confused: I have not had my car out for almost 2 years, been going out with Chris with his ride most of the time. 41 has been a big let down this past year with all the fooling around that they been up to.I have been there a couple of times too just watch and things are really pathetic at best. They usualy post on there web site 1 hour before they make a decision if there open or not. Tired of driving down to find out they decided to be closed.:bs:

Byron is a better track IMO. I know its a haul for you, but you'll be happier you did. As much as people bitch about 66, i've got alot of runs in even on a friday night TNT. So if your car is legal for NHRA style tech, that would be a good option also.

1st, most guys have NEVER liked the POS manager, so it's not just anymore!!
2nd, you can only be cheated & ripped off so many times before enough is enough!!
3rd, most guys with 1/2 a brain have finally learned that those lying, thief's don't give a damn about anyone,
and if something does happen, you can be really screwed!!
They are not prepared, they are not trained, they are not equipped, and frankly,
they just don't give a damn about racers safety, and for that matter, the fans either!!
Remember, your life could be in the hands of a fat, despicable, loser!!!

You Indiana guys should head over to Muncie dragway if you get a chance. Its NHRA but very racer friendly, and has killer prep. Its very similar in comparison to Cordova if you have ever been there.Everyone working there is laid back and friendly.Give me a PM if any of you are going to 41 and ill try to make it out to watch.

I raced there for years before 41 was built and had great times.
The problem is I can't get a straight answer.
Is it save to bring my car??
Are the pits still VERY VERY rough.
Are they prepared for my kind of car, or do they not even want us??
Big difference between being 9 second friendly, and 6-7 second friendly!!
I've even called several times & sent emails, nobody has ever called me back??

How is tech and prep at Muncie on a normal day? Been tree once and it seemed like a nice place, but that was for RPM transmission's track day so they weren't teching and prep was great. I need to change a few things to be legal but planning on getting that taken care of this summer. Also want to try Osceola out this year. In the past just went to 41 because it's and hour away and tech reasons. (I need a dsl and helmet)

41 is still owned by the widow.
The manager is the same POS thief that took over after Norm passed away.
I personally contacted the owners son.
I showed him the posts & replies on several forums about what a POS loser the manager was.
His own posts threatening and treating people like crap.
Bragging about ripping people off and how stupid they are for keep coming back.
The guy just does not give a damn what his father built/saved is now a crap hole, joke of a track!!
US 41 and the Nevinger name are the laughing stock of the drag racing community.
Here's how completely stupid some of the lemmings are!!
I had one tell me they all hate the manager, they know he's a POS loser, and thief.
They know its the worst track any of us have ever been to, they know they get ripped off all the time.
Then he was so stupid to say they are still going, and will probably go more??
Also that if they got a new manager, most would stop going without even going and checking it out??
It makes no sense, and I was one of the idiots that came back after being gone for years??
At some point, enough is enough, and until that loser is gone,
the place will stay a crap hole ripping people off every chance they get.

The transition has definitely gotten very bad over the years.
Last time I was out there helping with a crash it was huge, and that was 10 years ago!!
The big events get a lot of POS losers, that don't give a damn about the brotherhood of racers.
I've had my trailer damaged, and plenty of people have lost stuff.
Including kids borrowing a tool or tire gauge and disappearing!!
As for people that aren't helping get the place straighten out.
You can't force people to do the right thing.
Just remember, every time you get ripped off, treated like crap, and someone crashes
or gets hurt due to improper racing surface or maintained stands etc, YOU WERE WARNED!!
Just like all the guys that loved him, and then when he ruined KOTS and tried to steal the event,
they were every where bitching and moaning about what a thief he is!!
You got what you deserved!!!

I definitely have zero issues with the track & the layout.
I actually prefer the way it's designed way more then Byron, & Grove.
It's the POS thief that runs the place, and bleeds it dry that most of us have an issue with.
The owners not giving a damn is not helping!!
How stupid do you have to be, to have rocks all over a dragstrip??
How stupid do you have to be, to have wood bleachers in Chicago and then not maintain or paint them??
How stupid do you have to be, for the spokesman (used lightly) to publicly insult, degrade, bash, threaten
everyone that says anything other then sucking up to them??
Especially when you're a big fat coward, that couldn't last 2 minutes in a fight without shooting someone!!
I can go on forever!!

Yup next weekend it is. Saw on there photographers FB page. I have been runnin at 41 in the Ultimate Shootouts for the last 3 years. Its a blast to actually race for points and compete in a actual event so I will still race at 41. I have not checked but, dont believe any of the other tracks run a points series. Yes 41 may be a shithole but we gotta make the best of it. Im sure if they upped on there safety and put a few dollars back into the place there would be alot more racers and fans returning.

Exactly, anybody that thinks for one second that people are staying away only because the bathrooms are despicable,
the cooler charge is a crime, the stands are falling apart and all the other dozens of issues need to get a clue.
The guy is a POS loser and proven thief!!
As long as enough people keep handing him their hard earned money,
he will keep laughing at you, and nothing will ever change.
Just like the guy that posted what he heard that fat POS say when bragging to a buddy.
Don't remember exactly, but something like??
"These people are too fu..... stupid to go anywhere else,
and I can keep doing anything I want and treating them like crap"??
