Generation IV External Engine - Alternator wiring - 05 GTO harness with Vette alternator

I'm using the CTS-V / G8 GT accessory kit on my 05 GTO LS2 harness for my swap. I have just about all the wiring figured out but I'm struggling to find some good info on this alternator.

Here's what I have:

GTO Alternator from left to right:
1-gray
2-orange

Vette alternator from left to right:
1-red
2-gray
3-red
4-empty

I need to cut the GTO plug off of the harness and attach the new 4 pin plug. I just need to know exactly what wires are going to where and what their function is?

Can't help you on the wires, but why not de-pin the connectors instead of cutting them? All it takes is a $4.00 Metripak tool...

The 04 GTO are internally regulated. 05-06 are a PCM controlled generator to help MPG. They are Mitsubishi alternators.

Can someone please tell me more of what Pin D does and where it would wire to on a C6 Corvette?

I just fisinshed a swap on my S10 and I`m hoping hooking this one last wire up will get rid of my battery light.
I was told to run a 6 inch cheater wire from Pin D to the alternator main output lug to the battery.

Other the that I have:

Pin A - Empty
Pin B - Brown wire to C2 15
Pin C - Gray wire to C2 52
Pin D - ?
(On a LS1 style computer)

Take a look at the pins on your alternator. On mine, even though there we're 3 wires on the pigtail, there were only 2 pins on the alternator (no actual pin connected to the "D" wire). Mine only used the center 2 pins that were labeled L and F.

I have pins on B C D.
Nothing on A.
