Default Custom rear for a CTS-V

Gents,

I'll post again as it seems I'm a little more internet edumicated now. Just wanted your advice on this. Bear in mind I'm really fresh to this.

It's a custom 8.8 rear going to replace glass rear of the gen 1 cts-v.

Will be using a custom 2 piece drive shaft and custom 31 spline 4130 axles with inner CV's and factory outer stubs. Plus custom brackets/bushings to fit it all out back.

Parts list includes:
Rusty old 8.8 tbird housing
Eaton truetrac 913A561 - $459
Motive Performance Plus 3.73 M-4209-F373N/M-4209-88373 - $180
Motive bearings kit R8.8RMK - $90
Possibly a custom cover with cooler lines (not sure if anyone knows of one)

Oh and some por15 and paint

Car will be sitting at around 650rwhp. No drag racing duty, some track time and daily driven.

Need something streetable, fairly quiet but able to withstand some punishment when needed.

Was thinking wavetrac, but a bit lost on that front and it's a bit pricier.

Opinions?
