Carbureted LSX forum - Swapped the 1 chambers for bullets

This was with the 1 chambers before swapping them today:

Seems that the bullets are loud enough that it distorts the cameras ability to record the sound like it did on the 1 chambers, sounds less hollow and more brutal in the RPM as well.

So, 65$ for the pair and 25$ for installation, it was worth it.

Just wish it sounded more like my Trans Am, but that is a single 3" bullet controlling 8 cylinders VS this being 4 on 1 muffler with the duals.

No telling, feels a bit faster due to the aggressive sound, but maybe 1/2 a hp, lol.

Idk, cruising and idle is not bad, but this is Texas, and we only trip on rice boxes. Everywhere else might have haters that pull over muscle car and what not.

Just hater cops.
Hppens when i have the tops off and car is shining..my ta is nowhere as loud as yours. Not once of those 3 times did i get ticket or warning.:huh:

sounds good. are you still running 317's milled or did you switch over to 243's? did you end up flycutting, can't remember.

I know that rs would fly with the 243s and th350 :devil:

Stock 317s milled .030 still.


Going to go with a procharger(eventually) so i am going to leave them alone.

Sounds good either way to me, but "in person" would prolly give anyone the best judgement call. The bullets are def. not for the feint at heart...I had em on my 68 camaro and that car shook the ground, buildings, and anything else within a 50 yd radius lol....but i loved them. Course I did weld them 12inches off the collecter to act like a collecter extension :)

True, very true, sound clips do no justice. In the rpm the sound is amazing, and I want to know how it sounds like that from the outside.

Love the bullets on a cammed 6.0. I have an xpipe on mine with bullets and it has gotten me pulled over 3 times in the past year for just the noise alone.

sounds good! makes me miss my x pipe and bullets....had to go with 1 chambers for room

those bullets are the truth. i have them with an x pipe on my mustang. they scream when you get up in the higher rpms.
