Carbureted LSX forum - help!

Ok guys im doing a swap and need some help, I got a 5.3 that i will be changing over to carb, im using a comp cam (54-600-11) edelbrock and msd ignition controler 670cfm helley carb , Im also using my older t5 to bolt up to this set up, i know the t5 cant really handel the power or torque, but thats all i have for now, can someone tell me what i need to bolt the t5 to my ls 5.3? the t5 bolts up fine but im wondering what flywheel and clutch i need, or any other parts:confused:? any help would be great, thanks

Can't help you on the clutch parts, but if you want to beef up that T-5, you can check out Astro (http://astroperformance.com/) and G-Force (http://www.gforcetransmissions.com/tran_gt-5.asp). Also, the weight of the car and final drive plays into it...

The input shaft is not long enough to mate with the pilot bearing.
