Default Advice on tank for a 67 A body Conversion

Done a little skimming and cant seem to find a vendor or soild suggestion on which way to go for a FI tank for my conversion. My apologies if this has been covered. Don't really want to go to a fuel cell. Thanks in advance.

I would recommend a 4th gen fuel pump module.

We've used the stock pick up with a MSD pump and a vette filter to use as the return.

I just put a tanks inc in dads 71 and it works good. I put a couple gallons in it and have idled it in the shop

Common pump that has a very good reputation.

Check out the build below of this outstanding looking Buick. Might be of some help as long as you are talking GM A body and not Mopar.

There are a few options based on which way you want to go.. Intank or external.

Intank...:
You can replace the tank with a Rick or Valley Stainless Steel tank with In tank pumps. You can also swap in a 94-96 B-Body Tank. ( I am using one in my 71 Chevelle). A Grand National tank is also a good swap.

You can convert your existing tank with a drop in pump unit like the Tanks Inc.
http://www.tanksinc.com/index.cfm/pa...=cat/cat61.htm
You can use a 4th or 5th Gen F-Body pump. Vetteworks has the ring for the 4th gen.
http://www.vetteworksonline.com/ls1_conversion_fuel.htm
There is a kit for the 5th gen pump. http://vaporworx.com/

www.retrofuel.com is starting to market low cost tanks with the 5th gen pump.

Some have used the Spectra tank, but many problems of starvation.

External..:
Or you can go external with many external pump (MSD, Aeromotive, etc), but recommend you sump the tank with a Competition Engineering kit.

I'm going to go external with a sump kit. Just makes it easier. Already bought the sump and the pump. Thanks for the feedback guys

We have complete swap systems for the Tanks inc kit. Works really good and simple.
