Between doing the massive amount of lab reports and stuff I am doing for school I am killing some time trolling around on deh interwebz. I figured I would make a little BS thread about spring/summer lol. I know we haven't had much of a winter with snow or anything, but it has been cold enough to make me not like this winter. I am def ready for spring/summer. I was just curious about everyone's plans for cars, vacations, jobs, or anything else cool. Personally, my car is done for now. I am pretty content with how my car is now. If I come across a good deal on sway bars I might get some, but other than that probably nothing. Hopefully I get a new job as a pharmacy tech here soon. I had an interview last week that I am waiting to hear about. That will be nice since it is in my field of study. I am also planning on an epic cruise to the smokies in July depending on how gas prices look. I also want to finish polishing and stripping my wheels that I started on before the cold came in. I have one wheel left to do lol. I'll probably put my good rims back on come about March or April. So what is everyone else doing?

My car should be done by the end of next week. Winter project(s):

-BBK lt/y pipe
-Thunderbolt cats
-UMI sfc's
-T/A girdle

Along with a tune up and tune, of course. Should be a little more fun driving this spring.

Ordered a DSS 9" conversion kit for the Camaro. Just waiting for parts to arrive. The only other item planned this year is a set of M/T radials, to help with traction.

Custom EPS cam, circle d 3200 stall, 25% ud pulley, t/a girdle, rear suspension upgrades, true duals. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. Getting her tuned this weekend if it's nice enough. I'm so ready to drive it. Sounds like a beast just idling in the garage.

Where and what is it? If you dont mind me asking.

It's at the local pharmacy. I'm going to be a pharmacy tech. It's going to pay a lot more plus it is in the medical field which is what I am going to school for. Looks like there are a lot of drag cars in the midwest section. Seems like everyone posting is building up a drag car.

I may or may not take my car to the track this year. My friend has a wrx now so he wants to see how it stacks up against my car. He should win. Our cars are about the same power wise, but he def has the driver mod ha ha.

His is a bug eye with a boost controller and an exhaust. We're guessing it's about 280 or so all wheel horsepower. My car being stock is probably about 290 or 300 or so to the ground. The all wheel drive would get me off the line, but I am thinking all the torque I have would reel him back in. I'm not concerned about it though. This guy is my best friend he may as well be my brother so it doesn't matter whose car is faster lol. It'll be fun to have someone to cruise with.

Just ordered my racetronix full pump, shipped my injectors to stiegemeier to get resized for 60 lb'rs and I'm getting my kooks ypipe from AES today. Next up Sphon driveshaft FTP 102mm lid.

I got a 98mm FTP lid if anyone is interested. Asking 100 and if you know me it's in good shape lol.

^^^ sounds like a nice car coming together. Speaking of the wrx, we were replacing the wheel bearing on it and were almost done except we didn't have a 32mm to take off the axle nut. Fail.

My car is close. I can't wait to actually drive it this year. I think I might have drove it 3 months an hour or two a week last year. Doing some small stuff to make it look better for the upcoming year.

The TA is getting a new catted Y pipe with a flowmaster merge fabricated next week. Then it's a full paint correction detail, new tint, and, depending on the tax check, koni yellows with strano springs and supporting suspension parts to get her back in alignment (needed to do something to make use of that lifetime alignment package :secret2:).

Anyway, as soon as my tax return gets in I am ordering some shocks and lowering springs, as well as some decent brakes all around. Cant wait to drive the car again, this winter has indeed sucked. Just another month I will be bringing her out.
