DDM tuning, order the color you want, wait a week, open package and plug them in. Its THAT easy. Great color of the bulbs ZERO problems.

Im pretty sure the 55w are fine for everything but t/a fogs due to the heat. You may need a harness too for those, but many people have run the 55w also.

The right way to do it is to get HID Projectors.

The quick-and-dirty way to do it is to just get a HID kit like others above have said.

Halogen Reflector Housings can't properly handle HID and will have increased glare.

HID Projectors will better spread the light without glare.

My first experience with HIDs were Xentec standard ballast (non-slim) kits with relay harnesses for both the headlamps and the fog lamps. The ballasts were complete crap, so I trashed them.
Two days ago I installed sets from DDMtuning with relays and everything works great. I got 4500K color temp for the fogs and headlamps, and since the fogs are projectors they are more blue in color. I might change the fog lamp bulbs to 3000K for better visibility. The headlights have a stock HID color, so hopefully they don't grab too much unwanted attention. I plan on doing a projector retrofit on my headlamps in the near future, but for now my stockers will have to suffice.
Regardless of the company you choose, relay harnesses and slim ballasts are a must IMO

EDIT: Also, try a search man! There's tons of threads on this subject in the archives

The easiest to install with good output would be the Morimoto Mini-H1 bi-xenon projector. These are easy to install and have much better output than any of the ebay projector housings for the 1998-2002 Camaro. Here are a couple installs on a 1998-2002 Camaro:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...rojectors.html
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...1-install.html

Those links are also in the Lighting FAQ.

Stick with 35watt HID in the Morimoto Mini projectors though. Higher wattage has been known to damage them.

You can get the projectors from The Retrofit Source.

There are OEM HID projectors with better output, but they aren't as easy to install. If you are handy, you can try one of them instead. Such as the RX Projector for low beam or the FX projector for bi-xenon. There are plenty of other options but those 2 are among options the best considering price/size/packaging. The Retrofit Source also carries these and other projectors.

There is plenty more info in the Lighting FAQ:
https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...hting-faq.html
and at the forums on HID Planet:
http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/
(I'm on there too with the same screen name.)

BLS is also looking into projector setups for the 1998-2002 Camaro.

Hey,
I know I'm new to the forum, but I just did a retrofit on my 98 Camaro. I used projectors (Morimoto Mini H1s) and 35W ballasts (larger DDM Tuning Ones) and bulbs (6000K). The nice part is no one flashes their high beams at me and I can see farther than ever.
If you need any advice on the install let me know, otherwise the other threads people posted are good! I will say you can fit two projectors in the housings, one where the high beam and one where the low beam bulbs mounted.

Tonight was my first experience driving w/ my new HIDs and they light up the road much better, and look killer! They are truly not too blinding to other drivers considering how low these cars sit. It's the SUVs and trucks, especially the lifted ones that get on my nerves!
I don't think I can go back to halogen bulbs now! I'll post some inside/outside pics when I get a chance.
