honest there are a few places to buy from search ebay for hid kit and you will be able to find them really cheap. ,my buddy got some off e bay an they were alot brighter and better color than my other buds ddm tuning kit, and it was 25 dollars cheaper,just do a search and see what buyer everyone goes with

Yeah does everyone still get from ddm? I know they had some great product but i thought they had a long wait time and raised the $. I'd be weary about cheap electronic stuff off ebay..are his still running strong bobs99ss?

The right way to do it is to get HID Projectors.
The quick-and-dirty way to do it is to just get a HID kit like others above have said.
Halogen Reflector Housings can't properly handle HID and will have increased glare.
HID Projectors will better spread the light without glare.

My first experience with HIDs were Xentec standard ballast (non-slim) kits with relay harnesses for both the headlamps and the fog lamps. The ballasts were complete crap, so I trashed them.
Two days ago I installed sets from DDMtuning with relays and everything works great. I got 4500K color temp for the fogs and headlamps, and since the fogs are projectors they are more blue in color. I might change the fog lamp bulbs to 3000K for better visibility. The headlights have a stock HID color, so hopefully they don't grab too much unwanted attention. I plan on doing a projector retrofit on my headlamps in the near future, but for now my stockers will have to suffice.
Regardless of the company you choose, relay harnesses and slim ballasts are a must IMO

The easiest to install with good output would be the Morimoto Mini-H1 bi-xenon projector. These are easy to install and have much better output than any of the ebay projector housings for the 1998-2002 Camaro. Here are a couple installs on a 1998-2002 Camaro:

Stick with 35watt HID in the Morimoto Mini projectors though. Higher wattage has been known to damage them.
You can get the projectors from The Retrofit Source.
There are OEM HID projectors with better output, but they aren't as easy to install. If you are handy, you can try one of them instead. Such as the RX Projector for low beam or the FX projector for bi-xenon. There are plenty of other options but those 2 are among options the best considering price/size/packaging. The Retrofit Source also carries these and other projectors.

Tonight was my first experience driving w/ my new HIDs and they light up the road much better, and look killer! They are truly not too blinding to other drivers considering how low these cars sit. It's the SUVs and trucks, especially the lifted ones that get on my nerves!
I don't think I can go back to halogen bulbs now! I'll post some inside/outside pics when I get a chance.
