Houston 1/2 Mile Shootout This might be interesting for some of you guys to check out. The website opens tomorrow. This is a quote from the fb announcement. I thought it was something worth sharing.
"Aeros & Autos this year is happy to announce we will be teaming with Hennessey Performance in promoting the first ever Houston 1/2 Mile Shootout. The event will be part of Aeros & Autos. More information will be coming out about the event in the coming day's, such as registration, price, rules, and times. All shootout information will be posted on (www.houstonmile.com). (website to be active on Feb 15th)"

I drove down for the car show last year, a big turnout and a lot of nice vehicles. Depending on if my car is in the shop to be repainted, I may try to get down there again this year.
