Question Moisture in the oil system

Hey everyone, long time no see... help me out here.

I've got some of that vanilla foam buildup going on under the oil cap. I'm pretty sure its not coolant getting into the engine. (Although my system is losing coolant, I can trace signs of it seeping out behind the water pump. I'll probably wait until spring to get that checked.)

I've looked up information that suggest this happens commonly in cold weather when moisture gets trapped in the engine. the moisture rises and condenses at the highest and coolest point of the motor, commonly the oil cap.

So while I'm not overly concerned about it, is there anything I can do to improve it from building up? is there a vent hose that may be clogged? I'm also not entirely familiar with the numerous hoses protruding from the valve covers. Suggestions appreciated!

Thanks,

Default

its from your car not heating all the way when driving and not burning off the moisture. let it get fully hot when driving, if not could lead to gelling of motor. worse case.
