Default *Need Daily Driver Cam/Head Advice* (Looking for YOUR opinions))

I'm sure I will get reemed with the "search function" line, however I am looking for some first hand experience.

I'm looking at getting some first hand knowledge/opinion on the BEST cam grind you have ever personally run. Specifically looking for some opinions on an extremely street friendly, but torquy cam that sacrifices absolutely NO drivability. Track times are not too important, but I do want to do it the RIGHT way.

I currently have full suspension, 4.10's, ls6 intake, etc.

Feel free to throw in some opinions on your favorite HEAD/CAM package as well.

Right now then engine is in a practically untouched 2002 z28. Oviously an ls1, however I was thinking about going with some 5.3's possibly along with the cam.

consider a TSP 224r cam pkg with some 5.3 stage 2 heads.or get some used 342/799 heads and have them freshened up.get a tr224 cam or a EPS 222/226 cam.

Check this out:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...k-results.html

I am looking to do the exact same thing when I build the motor for my 88 Iroc. I want a cam that has some good low end, but also be able to put to about 6k.

I wanted a cam that will have great street manners and idle just like stock (unlike some people, i DONT like the choppyness of a big cam at idle)

I will probably use this one in my stock LS6.
